Does 17 King validate parking during Nights of Lights?
-
You qualify three ways: spend $75 or more dining with us, come as a group of two or more for a wine tasting, or join us for lunch on Friday between 11:00am and 3:00pm. Any one of those earns the credit.
-
The credit reimburses City of St. Augustine parking paid through the ParkStAug app, so it applies to city parallel spots and city lots. The closest city parking to 17 King is the first and second blocks of King Street, the Cathedral Place blocks, and St. George Street east of Casa Monica. The garage and private lots don't run through ParkStAug, so we can't credit those.
-
One parking credit per check. If you're arriving in separate cars, ask about separate checks when you sit down.
-
City parking on the first and second blocks of King Street puts you steps from our front door at the corner of King and Aviles. The Trinity Episcopal Church lot at 225 St. George Street sits directly behind us and is our recommended lot if you're spending the whole day downtown — note it's closed Sundays until 1:00pm and during church events.

Yes, in two ways. City parking is free after 9:00pm, which works well for later dinners with us on Fridays and Saturdays. And on participating dates the city runs a free shuttle from 1:00pm to 11:00pm out of Broudy's Lot (198 West King Street), the North San Marco Lot (301 San Marco Avenue), and the St. Johns County Health Department (200 San Sebastian View). The shuttle drops you at the Visitor Information Center, a 12-minute walk from us. Drivers with a disabled parking permit park free.
-
The Historic Downtown Parking Facility at 1565 Cordova Street holds 1,200 cars. It's $20 all day when the shuttle isn't running. On shuttle days it's $20 before 1:00pm and up to $40 after 1:00pm — so if you're coming downtown in the afternoon, the free shuttle lots are the better call.
-
From November 21 to January 11 (except December 31), guests staying on Anastasia Island can ride the STAR Shuttle between 5:00pm and midnight. It drops off at 201 Gerado Street, just east of the Bridge of Lions and a 12-minute walk to 17 King.

Tuesday through Thursday 4:30pm to 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday 11:00am to 10:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am to 9:00pm. Reservations are strongly recommended during Nights of Lights — it's our busiest stretch of the year.
